Bastion Pest Pros Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 27, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Bastion Pest Pros (“Bastion,” “we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses and shares information when you call Bastion Pest Pros, visit bastionpestpros.com, or contact us in any other way (together, the “Service”).
Bastion is a free service that connects people with independent, licensed local pest control providers. We are not a pest control company. Because connecting you with a provider is the point of the Service, sharing your information with that provider is a core part of how it works. Please read this policy carefully.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you give us, information collected automatically, and information from other sources.
Information you give us
- When you call: your phone number, your name, your address or ZIP code, the type of pest problem, details about your property, your availability, and anything else you choose to tell us.
- Call recordings: Calls may be recorded for quality and training. If a call is recorded, you’ll hear a notice at the start of the call. If your call is recorded, we collect the recording and any notes made from it.
- When you use a form or email us: your name, email address, phone number, address or ZIP code, the details of your request, and any photos or attachments you send.
- Pest control companies: business name, contact details, license and insurance information, service areas and services.
Information collected automatically
- Call data: caller ID, the number you called, date, time, duration, and the general location associated with your phone number.
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, links clicked, referring website, and dates and times of visits.
- Cookies and similar technologies: see Section 5.
Information from other sources: we may receive information from providers we connect you with (for example, whether they were able to reach you), from call-tracking and analytics vendors, and from advertising platforms.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to run the Service and to improve it.
- To answer your call or message and understand your pest problem
- To connect you with an independent provider that serves your area and handles your pest
- To follow up about your request or about a call that was cut off
- To review call quality, train staff and keep records
- To evaluate and manage the providers we work with
- To operate, maintain, secure and improve our website and call line
- To measure the performance of our content and advertising
- To prevent fraud, spam and misuse
- To comply with law and enforce our Terms of Use
We do not use your information to make decisions about you that produce legal or similarly significant effects based solely on automated processing.
3. How We Share Information
We share information in the following ways.
With the provider you’re connected to. When we connect you with a pest control provider, we share the information needed for them to help you, such as your name, phone number, address, and a description of the problem. We may also transfer your call to them directly. Providers are independent businesses, and their use of your information is governed by their own privacy practices, not this policy.
With service providers. We use vendors to help run the Service, such as phone and call-tracking services, website hosting, analytics, email and customer support tools. They may use information only to perform services for us.
For legal reasons. We may disclose information if we believe it is required by law, subpoena or other legal process, or necessary to protect the rights, property or safety of Bastion, our users or others.
In a business transfer. If Bastion is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, sale of assets or similar transaction, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
With your consent. We may share information in other ways when you ask us to or agree to it.
4. Calls and Text Messages
If you call us, the call may be routed through a call-tracking system that records call details. Calls may be recorded for quality and training. If a call is recorded, you’ll hear a notice at the start of the call. If you give us your number, we or the provider you’re connected with may call or text you about your request.
We will not send you marketing text messages without the consent required by law. You can reply STOP to opt out of text messages at any time. Message and data rates may apply.
5. Cookies and Analytics
We and our vendors use cookies, pixels and similar technologies on our website.
| Type | What it does |
|---|---|
| Essential | Makes the site work, such as loading pages and remembering basic settings |
| Analytics | Shows us how visitors use the site so we can improve it |
| Call tracking | Shows which page or ad led to a call |
| Advertising | Measures ad performance and may show you relevant ads on other sites |
Analytics and advertising partners may collect information about your activity on our site and across other websites over time. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and many browsers let you block or delete them. Blocking some cookies may affect how the site works.
Some browsers send “Do Not Track” signals. Because there is no common standard for these signals, our site may not respond to them. Where required by law, we will honor recognized opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control.
6. How Long We Keep Information
We keep information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, including to provide the Service, keep business records, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations.
Call recordings and call logs are kept for up to 24 months unless a longer period is required for legal reasons. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or de-identify it.
7. How We Protect Information
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Please don’t send payment card numbers, Social Security numbers or other sensitive financial or health details through our forms, email or call line.
8. Children’s Privacy
The Service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Your Privacy Rights

These rights may include the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use and share
- Access a copy of your personal information
